After studying graphic arts, Emmanuel Gabily moved to advertising, an area in which he worked for fifteen years as an artistic director within parisian communication agencies. In 2002 he put his career in parentheses to travel for a year around the world; India, South-East Asia, South America. After a brief return to the advertising world, he became self-employed in 2006 as a freelance artistic director and photographer.
